Science at school, who could not forget their first experience of lighting up a Bunsen burner and mixing chemicals in a beaker or having to dissect a frog, thoroughly fun and sometimes gruesome to others science starts in Primary at key stage 1 to key stage 4 and beyond, this great curriculum subject is separated into four areas of study Biology, chemistry and physics. This subject cannot just be read from a book so getting out of the classroom and on a science school trip is so important to learn and inspire young pupils into these subjects we have a great range of options that provide great tours, workshops and events. Nettlecombe Court Field Study Centre is located in a valley at the edge of Exmoor National Park. The country mansion is set within heritage parkland, ancient woodland and is near an SSSI due to its lichen communities, great for Conservation studies.
