Cote Ghyll Mill is a group accommodation in a converted linen Mill, in the countryside of the North York Moors National Park. For the perfect outdoor adventure trip, the Mill is surrounded by trails for walks and cycling, with fantastic facilities!

What we offer on a school trip

Brilliantly affordable accommodation for school & youth group residential trips. Located in the beautiful North York Moors National Park. Nestled in it’s own private woodland with a wide range of outdoor adventures and learning experiences right on the doorstep. With sole occupancy available you can truly make the Mill your group’s home-from-home during your stay.

We have a dedicated campfire, bushcrafts & shelter building area in the grounds, it’s the perfect place to introduce younger children to new outdoor experiences. If you are looking for something more adventurous try your hand at abseiling the old Mill waterfall, or a short walk from the Mill you’ll find Cod Beck reservoir – the perfect setting for a group bonding activity such as raft building or canoeing.

As our name suggests, we’re a converted linen mill, with all the space and capacity that you would expect from a converted mill. With a newly refurbished meeting room, a self-catering kitchen for leaders use and modern 4-star en-suite rooms, teachers and group leaders will enjoy their stay as much as the youngsters! Better yet 1 leader per 10 full board guests stays completely free.

14 newly refurbished, en-suite bedrooms sleeping 56 people in bunk beds or 61 people using the five rollout beds located in the bedrooms. Want to keep the kids entertained in the evening? Ask us about arranging a disco and opening the tuck shop.
